Gravitar
Gravitar is an arcade game released by Atari Inc. in 1982. It is known for its high difficulty. The player controls a small blue spacecraft in a solar system with several planets. The game uses vector graphics in the arcade version.
The Atari 2600 version of Gravitar, released in 1983, attempts to replicate the complex gameplay of the arcade. The player must navigate the ship through various solar systems, landing on planets to destroy bunkers or retrieve fuel. Gravity plays a major role, constantly pulling the ship down, requiring the player to use thrust carefully. It is considered one of the most challenging games on the system.
