Reactor
Released in 1983, Reactor was developed by Charlie Heath and published by Parker Brothers. Based on the famous Gottlieb arcade, the game brings a proposal of fast and strategic action, with a unique theme: controlling an energy particle inside a nuclear reactor about to collapse.
In control of an energy particle, the player must push enemy atoms against reactor walls before they cause collision with dangerous limits. With each stage, the safe area decreases, and movement becomes more frantic. All this with a psychedelic visual typical of arcades of the time.
Besides facing enemies, the player can also activate control zones and earn extra points by mastering strategic pushing and controlled movement mechanics.
