Seaquest
Living in a yellow submarine (get the reference?), the player must rescue divers lost in the ocean. While trying to find them, the player will have to watch out for various sharks and enemy submarines that will try to attack. Besides enemies, there is another small detail: if the submarine is fully underwater, you will lose oxygen slowly, making it necessary to calculate when it is best to submerge. Activision didn't think the game was hard enough, so two rules were created. The player can only surface their submarine (to recover full oxygen) if they have rescued six divers, otherwise you will lose a diver. The other rule is a complement: if the player tries to return to the surface without any divers, they will lose their submarine. Created by Steve Cartwright, also known for games like Frostbite and Megamania, Seaquest features good graphics and addictive gameplay. It's impossible to play it just once; there's always a desire to try and beat your record. If the player reached the mark of 50,000 points, they could join the "Sub Club" and Activision would award them a special patch.
