Off the Wall
Clearly Off the Wall is a game inspired by the classic Breakout, but its features make it a unique game on the Atari 2600. The player controls a character named Kung Fu Lu, who dreams of defeating the great dragon (which looks like a worm) that lives on the other side of the wall. Your goal is to hit the small ball against the wall until it opens an opening where the dragon can be hit. Hitting the dragon four times moves the player to the next level. While breaking the blocks, special items may fall randomly; each will modify your game, which can be in a good or bad way. After the second level, a new enemy will appear. The black bird cannot attack you, but it will defend the ball hit by Lu whenever it can; the only way to affect the enemy is by getting a special Item that makes it dizzy for a short period. Off the Wall can be played with two people, where players take turns trying to finish off the dragon.
