Laser Blast
Laser Blast was released in 1981 for the Atari 2600, developed by legendary David Crane, also creator of Pitfall! and other classics. This space shooter puts the player in control of an alien ship equipped with deadly lasers, with the mission of destroying enemy ground bases before they strike back.
With simple but effective graphics and progressive difficulty, Laser Blast tests player reflexes and precision. With each successful hit, the score increases rapidly, but a mistake can be fatal. Upon being shot down, the player still has a chance to sacrifice themselves and collide with the enemy base, adding a strategy element to gameplay.
