Moon Patrol
In Moon Patrol, the player controls a vehicle that is being attacked by alien ships. Your goal is to destroy the enemies and try to go as far as possible.
Moon Patrol is a famous arcade game released by Irem in 1983. The game was ported to the Atari 2600 by GCC, who did a great job. Even with the console's limitations and the cuts that had to be made to the game, Moon Patrol turned out to be a beautiful game on the Atari.
The player controls a vehicle that can jump over craters and shoot at barriers that would hinder its patrol across the lunar terrain. In addition to its front shot, your vehicle has a weapon that shoots upwards, used to shoot down alien vehicles that try to destroy you.
